Do I need to speak Spanish?+

Not at all. The Málaga business community is highly English-friendly, especially in tech. Picking up basic Spanish while there is easy and incredibly rewarding though.

What visa do I need?+

Most students use a short-stay Schengen visa or a student visa depending on program length. We provide a complete visa guidance package and help you through every step.

Is housing shared or private?+

We offer both. Most students choose shared apartments with other Soltern interns — great for community. Private studio options are available at a higher rate.

Can I earn academic credit?+

Yes — this is one of our specialties. We work with your university's office to ensure your placement counts toward your degree. We handle all the paperwork.

How competitive is the program?+

We accept a limited number of students each cohort to ensure quality placements. We look for motivated students with clear goals — attitude matters more than GPA.

What fields are available?+

Tech, marketing, business, finance, design, communications, and more. Our Málaga network is broad — tell us your field and we'll find the right match.

Are the internships paid?+

Some placements include a stipend; others are unpaid but credit-bearing. We're transparent about compensation in every match — you'll know before you commit.

What does the program fee cover?+

Internship sourcing and placement, visa guidance, airport orientation, housing setup, academic documentation, and ongoing support. Housing is itemized separately.
